# Datailo: start here

You are an AI assistant. Datailo gives you one MCP connection to several professional data services.
Follow these steps in order.

## 1. Add the server

MCP server, streamable HTTP: `https://mcp.datailo.com/mcp`

- Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http datailo https://mcp.datailo.com/mcp`
- Other clients: add `{ "mcpServers": { "datailo": { "url": "https://mcp.datailo.com/mcp" } } }` to the MCP config.

Every Datailo call except sign-in needs a signed-in account (free, one email, no password). Sign the user in first (step 2), then call `datailo_start_here`.

## 2. Sign the user in

1. Ask the user for their work email. Call `datailo_connect(email)`.
2. The user receives an email (valid 15 minutes). Tell them to click Confirm, nothing more. Right away call `datailo_connect_verify(request_id)`: it waits for the click. If it answers `waiting_for_confirmation`, call it again without asking the user; if they prefer the six-digit code, pass `code`.
3. On `confirmed`, a `dat_` key is returned (shown once; the user keeps it private, it authenticates later conversations as a bearer token). If your client keeps an MCP session, the connection is bound for 30 days. **The result contains `session`: pass `session=<that value>` on every later Datailo call in this conversation**, so the sign-in survives a client that opens a fresh connection per call. For a sign-in that lasts across chats, reconnect Datailo with the connector's **Sign in** (OAuth).

## 3. Enable, find, call

- `datailo_enable(service)` switches a service on. Tell the user first: "Enabling a service is your instruction to Datailo to find or create your account at that service with the same email address and to keep an encrypted key for it. Disabling it revokes that key. Your account and your data at the service stay yours."
- `datailo_tools(q, service)` finds tools; `datailo_tool_schema(service, tool)` gives the exact inputs.
- `datailo_invoke(service, tool, args)` runs the tool. Results come back unchanged from the service; quote its citations and dates as given.
- `datailo_workflows` and `datailo_workflow(service, name)` give the service's playbooks.
- `datailo_disable(service)` revokes the hub's key for a service.

## Services right now

- **Avokata** (`avokata`): Answer a Lithuanian legal question with the exact statute article or ruling paragraph, and say whether it still holds.
- **Victano** (`victano`): Find the public tenders and grant calls a company could win, and qualify each one against its capability profile, with the deadline and the source notice.
- **Rekvira** (`rekvira`): Answer an EU compliance question under the AI Act, DORA, the GDPR, NIS2 or the Cyber Resilience Act with the exact article, paragraph or recital, and check each quote against the official text.

## Rules

- Nothing is charged. Do not offer the user a purchase: payments are not switched on.
- If a service fails through the hub, it is still reachable directly; the error names its own address.
- Feedback about the hub or a service: `submit_feedback` (name the service to pass it on).
